The Vermont State Police will be hosting a race – called the Vermont State Police Community Run – to raise money to benefit law enforcement families in need. The 5K run will offer the public an opportunity to interact with law enforcement officers and learn about the work that we do, while also helping families of members of the Department of Public Safety.

Over the past several years, many Vermont law enforcement families have been able to overcome unexpected medical costs, home damage and other tragic events because of the generosity of law enforcement charities.  The Vermont State Police Community Run would like to ensure this fund is available in the future so that the men and women who have dedicated themselves to public service can surmount difficulties they may face.

The run – which will begin and end in the Essex Shoppes and Cinema -- will also be a community building event. Representatives from our organization will be on hand to interact with the public and provide more information about the work we do. There will also be several state police vehicles on hand for the public to see up close and a certified inspector will conduct car seat safety demonstrations for families with young children.

Please join us in a working together as a community to support those who protect our safety.

For donations make checks payable to: Vermont State Police Community Run and mail them to:
